UNIQUE DESCRIPTION OF EMOTIONAL BEAUTY IN MAGAHI FOLK SONGS

The folk songs sung in Magadh province have the beauty of the emotional and artistic aspects contained in important traditions. The traditional thoughts and practices present in these folk songs are propagated through singing songs for the welfare of the present society. Mainly, while singing these songs, a lot of attention is focused on the subject that what things are being discussed in its emotional aspect. Is the character of the hero or heroine present in it useful for the welfare of the society? And will one be able to get happiness by singing this song? And will the thing described in it have any bad effect on the society? In Magahi folk songs, character has always been given the first place. In these folk songs, the singer pays more attention to whether the characters presented in the songs they are singing are capable of bringing welfare to the society or not.
Abstract [Hindi]
मगध प्रांत में गाये जाने वाले लोकगीतों में महत्वपूर्ण परंपराओं में समाहित भावपक्ष और कलापक्ष की सुन्दरता बिराजमान रहती है। इन लोकगीतों में उपस्थित पारम्परिक विचारों और व्यवहारों को वर्तमान समाज के कल्याण के लिए गीत गायन के माध्यम से प्रसारित किया करते हैं। मुख्यतः इन गीतों के गायन के समय इस विषय पर अत्यधिक ध्यान केन्द्रित किया जाता है कि इसके भाव पक्ष में किन-किन वस्तु पर चर्चा किया जा रहा है। क्या इसमें उपस्थित नायक अथवा नायिका का चरित्र समाज के कल्याण के लिए उपयोगी है? और क्या इस गीत के गायन पर आनन्द की प्राप्ति हो पायेगी? एवं इसमें वर्णित वस्तु का समाज पर कोई बुरा असर तो नहीं पड़ेगा। मगही लोकगीतों में विशेषतः चरित्र का स्थान सर्वदा प्रथम रहा है। इन लोकगीतों में गायक या गायिका इस बात पर अधिक ध्यान देते है कि हम जिन गीतों का गायन कर रहे है उसमें उपस्थित चरित्र समाज के मंगल करने योग्य है या नहीं।
