The International Journal of Engineering Science Technologies (IJOEST) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal follow double blind review process that publishes bimonthly research at the intersection of engineering, technology and applied sciences. Its aim is to advance rigorous, innovative and reproducible research that offers practical solutions to real-world problems in areas such as climate and environment, cyber and information security, agriculture and food systems, materials and manufacturing, and engineering management.
IJOEST seeks to bridge theory and application by providing a global platform where researchers, practitioners and students can disseminate original work, analytical and numerical models, experimental investigations, case studies and technical innovations. All submissions undergo initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, and the journal promotes open science through data and code sharing wherever possible.
IJOEST welcomes high-quality contributions in (but not limited to) the following areas:
- Applied Mathematics, Modelling and Simulation Differential equations, stochastic and probabilistic models, optimisation, forecasting, cryptography and security models, and other mathematical methods underpinning engineering and technology.
- Computer Science, Information and Communication Technologies Algorithms, image and signal processing, AI and machine learning (including deep learning and CNNs), cybersecurity and encryption, digital signatures, embedded and real-time systems, and IoT-enabled applications.
- Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering Communication systems, control and instrumentation, power and energy systems, sensor networks, and electronics for space, defence and industrial applications (e.g. CubeSat security and biometric modules).
- Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Design and analysis of components and systems, manufacturing processes, industrial engineering, reliability and maintenance, quality engineering, and engineering aspects of product and process improvement.
- Civil, Environmental and Urban Engineering Structural and construction engineering, construction materials and chemicals, fire and life-safety engineering, urban infrastructure, ecosystem services, climate extremes, and disaster risk reduction.
- Chemical, Materials and Process Engineering Advanced and functional materials, construction chemicals, image and food processing, process modelling, and physico-chemical characterisation relevant to engineering applications.
- Agricultural, Food and Biological Engineering Precision and protected agriculture, soil amendments and crop yield, plant disease detection and classification, food safety and quality, bioactive compounds and phytochemical analysis.
- Cross-disciplinary Engineering Applications for Sustainability and Society Studies where engineering and technology address sustainability, public health, safety, climate adaptation and societal challenges, such as climate-extreme forecasting, urban ecosystem services, fire safety in cities, and environmental monitoring.
The journal is international in scope and encourages submissions from all regions, with a particular interest in context-specific solutions relevant to emerging and developing economies. Original research articles, review papers, technical notes, case studies, short communications, and high-quality data or software papers that align with this scope are all considered for publication.
