• Ph.d. in Music ie. Dance topic “Tablaa ka kathak nritya ke sath Kriyatmak evem Saiddhantic Vivechan”
• Post-graduation in Music instrumental Tablaa with 1st position in order of Merit and received Gold Medal from C.C.S. University, Meerut
• Advance training in Guru Shishya Parampara under legendry dancer Pandita Uma Sharma ji with Scholarship by Ministry of culture, Govt. of India
• Masters in kathak dance from Khairagarh University, Chattisgarh with 1st div. and ‘Sangeet Praveen’ with 3rd position in order of merit from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad

• Assistant Professor Kathak in Dance Department Banasthali University, Rajasthan from 2004 to 2013

About:

• Dr. Bhawna Grover Dua, a renowned Kathak Dancer, Ganda Bndha disciple of Padam Bhooshan Pandita uma Sharmaji. l3hawna has done Masters in kathak Dance from Khairagarh University. Chhatisgarh with Isl Div. and 'Sangecl Pravccn' with 1st Div. and lllrd position in order of merit from Prayag Sangeel Samiti, Allahabad. She Started learning lathak al early age of eight years under Guru Girish Gupta ji and later She took her advance training in Guru Shishya Parampara under legcndry dancer Pandita Uma Shanna Ji with Scholarship by Ministry of culture
• Govt. of India. Bhawna has also leamt kathak from Guru Shashi Sankhala ji of Jaipur, Dr. Puru Dadhich ji, Indore, and Pt. Birju Maharaj Ji in New Delhi. Besides, she has done post-graduation in Music instrumental Tablaa with 1st position in order of Merit and received Gold Medal from C.C.S. Universiy, Meerut
• She has done sangeet praveen From Prayag Sangeet Samiti, allahabad and Sangeet Alankar from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Miraj in tablaa instrumental Music
• She has done PhD in music i.e., dance topic "Tablaa ka kathak nritya ke sath Kriyatmak evam Saiddhantic Vivechan"
• She is Graded artist from Delhi Doordarshan Kendra, New Delhi from 1997.She has performed kathak in various dance and Music festivals of India like Swami Haridas Sangeet Sammelan, Brindavan, Bundi Utsav, Rajasthan, Dusshera Utsav, Kota, Kathak Sandhya, Rastriya Kathak Sansthan, Lucknow, Sharadotsava, New Delhi, Kalka Bindadeen Kathak Samaroh, New Delhi, National Choreography festival, New Delhi. And Many times, at door darshan Kendra, New Delhi. She has also given many performances in various countries of Europe like Jermany, Belgium, Lithuania, Polland by I.C.C.R., New Delhi. Dr. Bhawna has composed, directed, and acted in a dance-based show "Jhankaar: Khanak Ghungruo Ki" produced and broadcasted by Subharti Media Pvt. Ltd in May 2014. Dr. Bhawna has also worked in dance drama Serial "Shree Radha & Meghadoot" was directed by her guru Uma ji & broadcasted on DD Bharti Channel
• Besides a Performer, she is an academician too. She is giving her sevice in dance teaching and research work from last seventeen years. She has worked as Assistant Professor -kathak in Dance Dept, Banasthali University, Rajasthan from 2004 to 2013 and now working as Professor and H.O.D, Performing Arts Dept. from 2013 to till date in Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Meerut. She has presented her approximately 40 research articles in National and international Seminars in Indian universities and her 33 articles has been published in Various journals of repute and as book chapters in India. She regularly published a research journal named "Art Fragrance" from 2014
• Dr. bhawna Grover is also a External Subject Expert as well as Practical & Theory, Ph. D Examiner of Many reputed Universities like BHU, Varanasi, banasthali University, Rajasthan, Bhatkhande University, Luclnow, Gurunanak Dev University, Punjab, Raja mansingh tomar University, Gwalior, Ruhail Khand University, Ruhailkhand, Prayag Sangit Samiti, Allahabad, Aakhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya mandal, Miraj.
