Abstract [English]

It is a matter of the beginning of the twentieth century when the artists of the Kathak world did not have shelter because the patronage of the Nawab of Awadh, Wajid Ali Shah, had ended. यह बात है बीसवी शताब्दी के आरंम्भ की जब कत्थक जगत के कलाकारो को आश्रय नही था क्योंकि अवध के नवाब वाजिद अली शाह का सरपरस्ती खत्म हो गई थी। खूब सजाया था, संवारा था कत्थक कलाकारो ने अपने पूर्वजों और नवाब साहब के संरक्षण में। 19वीं शताब्दी के बाद अन्तिम चरण में सन्नाटा छा गया था। कथक जगत में। कलाकारों को शान-शौकत खत्म हो गई और वे जीवीकापार्जन के लिए भटकने लगे क्योंकि नवाब साहब नही रहे थे।
