Abstract [English]

The significance and necessity of inclusive sex education in the digital era can be gauged by the fact that secondary school students still hesitate to discuss sex education. This is not a contemporary issue; rather, it is a problem that has persisted for several decades and remains largely unchanged to this day. Although secondary school students actively utilize digital media platforms—including social media channels such as WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook—the sex education-related content available on these platforms is not proving to be particularly beneficial to them. Employing a mixed-methods research approach, statistical data was collected and analyzed using the survey method within a quantitative research framework. Utilizing a non-probability sampling approach, specifically the convenience sampling technique, two schools were selected for the study. The data obtained indicates a correlation between secondary school students' perceptions of digital media and the formation of their attitudes toward sex education.
