THE CONCEPT OF GURU LINGA JANGAM IN THE VACHANA LITERATURE

Abstract [English]

It is a well-known fact that the vachanas of the devotees guide us daily in human life like the moon in the sky, like a street lamp, or even like a small hand torch. The most important words mentioned in the vachanas, Guru Linga Jangam and Prasada, are used in different vachanas with different meanings and meanings. If those words are understood according to the meaning of the vachana, the intention of the vachana will not be disturbed, otherwise the intention of the entire vachana will not be fulfilled. As mentioned above, the vachanas, which should necessarily be a constant guide for our lives, seem to show a different path. If we first identify the entire intention of the verse and try to understand these words, there is no doubt that our feelings will merge with the feelings of the verse and become assimilated. These four words are not just words or phrases. These are the four pillars of the Sharan culture. On these pillars, the Sharans built an Anubhav Mantapa, which is not like a small and limited mantapa, but a vast universe, expanding as it expands.

ಶರಣರ ವಚನಗಳು ಮಾನವನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶದ ಚಂದ್ರಮನಂತೆ, ಬೀದಿ ದೀಪದಂತೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಏಕೆ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕೈದೀವಟಿಗೆಯಂತೆ ನಮಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವ ವಿಚಾರ. ವಚನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖವಾಗಿರುವ ಬಹುಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಗುರು ಲಿಂಗ ಜಂಗಮ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಶಬ್ದಗಳು ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಚನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಅರ್ಥ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾವದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಕೆಯಾಗಿವೆ. ವಚನದ ಭಾವಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಆ ಶಬ್ದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ವಚನದ ಆಶಯಕ್ಕೆ ಭಂಗ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ವಚನದ ಆಶಯ ಈಡೇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಿತ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕವಾಗಬೇಕಾದ ವಚನಗಳು ಭಿನ್ನ ಹಾದಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿದಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ವಚನದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಆಶಯವನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಈ ಶಬ್ದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಯಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದಲ್ಲಿ ವಚನದ ಭಾವದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾವ ಬೆರೆತು ಸಮೀಕರಣವಾಗುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪದಗಳು ಕೇವಲ ಶಬ್ದ ಅಥವಾ ಪದಗಳಲ್ಲ. ಇವು ಶರಣ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಆಧಾರ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳು. ಈ ಆಧಾರ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಶರಣರು ಅನುಭಾವ ಮಂಟಪ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದರು, ಆ ಅನುಭಾವ ಮಂಟಪವಾದರೋ ಸ್ಥೂಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೀಮಿತ ಮಂಟಪದಂತಿರದೆ ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿಶಾಲವಾದುದು, ಹಿಗ್ಗಿಸಿದಷ್ಟೂ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವುದು.
