NEW NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY 2020 AND TRADITIONAL VALUES OF INDIAN EDUCATION

Ancient Indian education was value-based, including the Gurukul system and the world-famous “Nalanda and Takshashila Universities”. Value-based education policy reforms were the basis for using knowledge for the benefit of mankind. Ancient India had knowledgeable personalities like Sushruta, Aryabhatta, Panini and Chanakya, who set examples before the world. The long-term impact in the national education system is the change from the 10+2 pattern to 5$3$3$3$4. This decision will bring a major change in the Indian education system after three decades. The new National Education Policy is promoting Indian value-based education with emphasis on holistic education, India-centric education, development of knowledge-based society, and knowledge-based education.

प्राचीन भारतीय शिक्षा मूल्य आधारित थी, जिसमें गुरुकुल प्रणाली और विश्व प्रसिद्ध “नालंदा और तक्षशिला विश्वविद्यालय“ शामिल थे। मूल्य आधारित शिक्षा नीति सुधार मानव जाति के लाभ के लिए ज्ञान का उपयोग करने का आधार थे। प्राचीन भारत में सुश्रुत, आर्यभट्ट, पाणिनि और चाणक्य जैसे ज्ञानी व्यक्तित्व थे, जिन्होंने दुनिया के सामने उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किए। राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा प्रणाली में दीर्घकालिक प्रभाव 10$2 पैटर्न से 5$3$3$3$4 में बदलाव है। यह निर्णय तीन दशकों के बाद भारतीय शिक्षा प्रणाली में एक बड़ा बदलाव लाएगा। नई राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति समग्र शिक्षा, भारत-केंद्रित शिक्षा, ज्ञान आधारित समाज के विकास और ज्ञान आधारित शिक्षा पर जोर देने के साथ भारतीय मूल्य आधारित शिक्षा को बढ़ावा दे रही है।
