AVAILABILITY AND UTILITY OF EDUCATIONAL E-RESOURCES IN THE LIBRARY

The present research paper has been conducted with the aim of finding out the availability and utility of educational e-resources in the library of Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial and Affiliated Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Medical College. Under the research, data has been collected from 50 respondents through questionnaire and the findings of the research study show that despite the availability of resources in the libraries, there is a lack in the level of interest of the users and the resources that are available are not used properly by the users, hence the researcher has also presented suggestions in his research findings to the librarians to establish access to e-resources in the libraries and to the users.

प्रस्तुत शोध पत्र लाला लाजपत राय स्मारक एवं सम्बद्ध सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल चिकित्सा महाविद्यालय के पुस्तकालय में शैक्षिक ई-संसाधनों की उपलब्धता एवं उनकी उपयोगिता का पता लगाने के उद्देश्य से अध्ययन किया गया है। शोध के अन्तर्गत 50 उत्तरदाताओं से प्रश्नवाली के माध्यम से आकड़ों का संकलन किया है तथा शोध अध्ययन से प्राप्त निष्कर्षों से पता चलता है कि पुस्तकालयों में संसाधनों की उपलब्धता होने के बावजूद उपयोगकर्ताओं की रुचि के स्तर में अभाव देखनों को मिलता है तथा जो संसाधन उपलब्ध है उनका समुचित प्रयोग उपयोगकर्ताओं द्वारा नहीं किया जाता है अतः शोधार्थी द्वारा पुस्तकालयाध्यक्षों को पुस्तकालयों में तथा उपयोगकर्ताओं की ई-संसाधनों तक पहुंच स्थापित करने के लिए अपने शोध निष्कर्ष में सुझाव भी प्रस्तुत किये गये है।
