Smart library is an alternative to intellectual library, digital library, virtual library etc. The paper proposes the concept of smart library to overcome the limitations of a traditional library. This library will make the work of users and employees smart, easy and convenient. Especially in educational institutions, the concept of library is changing day by day as physical books, hard copies, newspapers and magazines are gradually disappearing. The concept of smart library needs to be implemented as soon as possible.

स्मार्ट पुस्तकालय बौद्धिक पुस्तकालय, डिजिटल पुस्तकालय, आभासी पुस्तकालय आदि का पर्याय है। कागज एक पारंपरिक पुस्तकालय की सीमाओं को दूर करने के लिए स्मार्ट पुस्तकालय की अवधारणा का प्रस्ताव करता है। यह पुस्तकालय उपयोगकर्ताओं और कर्मचारियों के कार्य को स्मार्ट, आसान और सुविधाजनक बना देगा। विशेष रूप से शिक्षण संस्थानों में, पुस्तकालय की अवधारणा दिन-ब-दिन बदल रही है क्योंकि भौतिक पुस्तकें, हार्ड कॉपी, समाचार पत्र और पत्रिकाएँ धीरे-धीरे लुप्त हो रही हैं। स्मार्ट लाइब्रेरी की अवधारणा को जल्द से जल्द लागू करने की जरूरत है।
