The present research analyzes the social, economic and cultural changes of the Oraon tribe located in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand state. This study examines the changes in the time period from 2000 to 2023. There have been extensive changes in the traditional life of this tribe due to the impact of globalization, urbanization, industrialization and government policies. This research highlights the changes in traditional social structure, economic means, lifestyle, cultural beliefs and cultural inheritance.

वर्तमान शोध झारखंड राज्य के धनबाद जिले में स्थित उरांव जनजाति के सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं सांस्कृतिक परिवर्तन का विश्लेषण करता है। यह अध्ययन सन् 2000 से 2023 तक की समयावधि में आए बदलावों की पड़ताल करता है। वैश्वीकरण, शहरीकरण, औद्योगीकरण एवं सरकारी नीतियों के प्रभाव से इस जनजाति के पारंपरिक जीवन में व्यापक परिवर्तन आए हैं। यह शोध परंपरागत सामाजिक संरचना, आर्थिक साधनों, जीवनशैली, सांस्कृतिक मान्यताओं एवं सांस्कृतिक उत्तराधिकार में आए परिवर्तनों को उजागर करता है।
