STUDY OF THE IMPACT OF HEALTH FILMS PRODUCED BY 'MADHYA PRADESH MADHYAM', AN INITIATIVE OF THE PUBLIC RELATIONS DEPARTMENT- A QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH

This quantitative research paper analyzes the impact of health films produced by 'Madhya Pradesh Madhyam', an agent of social change of the Public Relations Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The main objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of these films, particularly to understand the role of public relations media in increasing health awareness, bringing about behavioral change and dissemination of health information. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and interviews from 200 respondents (100 males and 100 females) from Bhopal. Analysis using statistical tools such as SPSS and Excel concluded that these films play a significant role in promoting health awareness and behaviour change. The results of the study also revealed that the impact of these films was higher among women, leading to health awareness and positive behaviour change among them. This research provides useful suggestions to policy makers and health organisations to increase the reach and effectiveness of health communication campaigns.

यह मात्रात्मक शोध पत्र 'मध्यप्रदेश माध्यम' द्वारा निर्मित स्वास्थ्य संबंधी फिल्मों के प्रभाव का विश्लेषण करता है, जो कि मध्यप्रदेश सरकार के जनसंपर्क विभाग के सामाजिक परिवर्तन का सूत्रधार है। इस अध्ययन का मुख्य उद्देश्य इन फिल्मों की प्रभावशीलता का आकलन करना है, विशेष रूप से स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता बढ़ाने, व्यवहारगत परिवर्तन लाने और स्वास्थ्य जानकारी के प्रसार में जनसंपर्क मीडिया की भूमिका को समझने के लिए। भोपाल के 200 उत्तरदाताओं (100 पुरुष और 100 महिलाएं) से संरचित प्रश्नावली और साक्षात्कार के माध्यम से तथ्य एकत्र किया गया। SPSS और एक्सेल जैसे सांख्यिकीय उपकरणों का उपयोग करके किए गए विश्लेषण में यह निष्कर्ष निकला कि ये फिल्में स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता और व्यवहार परिवर्तन को प्रोत्साहित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती हैं। अध्ययन के परिणामों से यह भी पता चला कि महिलाओं के बीच इन फिल्मों का प्रभाव अधिक था, जिससे उनमें स्वास्थ्य संबंधी जागरूकता और सकारात्मक व्यवहार परिवर्तन देखने को मिला। यह शोध नीति निर्माताओं और स्वास्थ्य संगठनों को स्वास्थ्य संचार अभियानों की पहुंच और प्रभावशीलता बढ़ाने के लिए उपयोगी सुझाव प्रदान करता है।
