GANDHIAN PHILOSOPHY AND ITS RELEVANCE IN MODERN TIMES

Abstract [English]

Principles are the basic pillars of human knowledge and behaviour, which help in understanding life, organising society and walking on the path of progress. Principle is the fundamental rule or concept of any subject, subject matter or idea, which is systematically and logically proven. It is such a fundamental truth which is considered true on the basis of logic and experience. Principles are equally applicable in all situations and present any knowledge in a systematic and organised form. Principles also inspire new discoveries and ideas and pave the way for their solution by analysing the problems. These principles are of different types such as personal, social, ethical, philosophical, spiritual, scientific etc. When any person or great man propounds some rules or formulas for the purpose of public welfare, common welfare or social reform, then such rules are called personal principles. Such as the principles propounded by Mahatma Gandhi, which are based on the thoughts and philosophy of Gandhiji, which are centered on truth, non-violence, simplicity, self-rule, self-reliance, social justice, and the sambhava of all religions. These principles provide a moral and practical guide for individual and collective life. They provide stability and clarity to a person in his life and prove helpful in taking decisions in difficult situations

सिद्वान्त' मानव ज्ञान और व्यवहार का आधारभूत स्तम्भ होते हैं, जो जीवन को समझने, समाज को संगठित करने और प्रगति के मार्ग पर चलने में सहायता प्रदान करते हैं। ‘सिद्धान्त' किसी भी विषय, विषयवस्तु या विचार का वह मूलभूत नियम या धारणा है, जो व्यवस्थित और तार्किक रुप से प्रमाणित होती है। यह एक ऐसा आधारभूत सच होता है जिसे तर्क और अनुभव के आधार पर सत्य माना जाता है। 'सिद्धान्त' सभी परिस्थितियों में एक समान लागू होते हैं तथा किसी ज्ञान को व्यवाधित और संगठित रूप में प्रस्तुत करता है।
'सिद्धान्त नई खोजों और विचारों को भी प्रेरित करते है एवं समस्याओं का विश्लेषण करके उनके समाधान का मार्ग भी प्रशस्त करते हैं। ये सिद्दान्त विभिन्न प्रकार के होते हैं जैसे- व्यक्तिगत, सामाजिक नैतिक, दार्शनिक, आध्यात्मिक, वैज्ञानिक आदि ।
जब कोई व्यक्ति या महापुरुष जनकल्याण, समान कल्याण या समाजसुधार के उद्देश्य से कुछ नियमों या सूत्रों का प्रतिपादन करता है तो ऐसे नियम ही व्यक्तिगत सिद्धान्त कहलाते है। जैसे महात्मा गांधी द्वारा प्रतिपादित सिद्दान्त जो गोधी जी के विचारों और दर्शन पर आधारित है जो सत्य, अहिंसा, सरलता, स्वराज आत्मनिर्भरता, सामाजिक न्याय प्रथा सर्वधर्म सम्भाव पर केंद्रित हैं। ये सिदान्त व्यक्तिगत और सामूहिक जीवन के लिए एक नैतिक और व्यवहारिक मार्गदर्शन प्रदान करते है। ये व्यक्ति को अपने जीवन में स्थिरता और स्पष्टता प्रदान करते है एवं कठिन परिस्थितियों में निर्णय लेने में सहायक सिद्ध होते हैं।
