The empowerment of women has gained global attention as a vital aspect of sustainable development. This paper examines the role of the Palai Social Welfare Society (PSWS) in empowering women economically in the region of Palai, Kerala. Through initiatives like microfinance, training programs, and cooperatives, PSWS has been a key player in improving the socio-economic status of women. The study analyzes the impact of these interventions on the financial independence and social mobility of women in Palai. This paper explores the significant role played by the Palai Social Welfare Society (PSWS) in empowering women economically through various initiatives. The analysis aims to understand how the organization's efforts have impacted the lives of women in the region, particularly by improving their socio-economic conditions.
