However, its rapid proliferation has raised concerns about its potential negative effects on mental health. This research paper explores the multifaceted impact of social media on mental well-being, analyzing both its positive and negative aspects. By examining relevant studies, psychological theories, and real-world examples, the paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how social media influences mental health and the underlying mechanisms involved.
