NURONDAIAH - POET'S POEM THOUGHT

Abstract [English]

Kannada literature after the twelfth century underwent socio-religious and cultural changes and became the beginning of a new era. The mature Champu literature that emerged with devotion to tradition flourished initially, and then the simple, natural, and popular national rhythm settled in the minds of the people. By using the vernacular as a literary language and expressing it with new power and emotional expression, it gave a thoughtful literature that had never been seen before in the world to global literature. The literary society of the refuges invited a radical change in society and gave the later literature a great intellectual basis as an experience of knowledge. The pride of the vachana literature is that the people's voice, which spoke for itself and for itself, raised it to the height of the divine voice. Sharanara literature, which was born with the desire to explore life, turned its gaze from the individual to the collective. It absorbed the traditional wisdom and through it, it tried to build a human religion by preaching timeless values. Since then, Kannada literature has taken on a new form and has pioneered the welfare of the people. Such a rich and innovative poetic literature has become a beacon for future literary creation.

ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೆಯ ಶತಮಾನದ ನಂತರದ ಕನ್ನಡಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕಧಾರ್ಮಿಕಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಿತ್ಯಂತರಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೊಸ ಮನ್ವಂತರಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದ ಪ್ರೌಢ ಚಂಪುಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಆದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೃಂಭಿಸಿ, ತದನಂತರ ಜನಸಮ್ಮುಖವಾದ ಸರಳ, ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕವಾದ ದೇಶ್ಯಛಂದಸ್ಸು ಜನಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಆಡುನುಡಿಯ್ನು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಿಕ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸಶಕ್ತಿಆನುಭಾವಿಕ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೆಂದೂ ಕಾಣದ ವಿಚಾರಶೀಲಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜಾಗತಿಕಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಕನ್ನಡಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯೇ ಸರಿ.ಶರಣರಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೂಲಾಗ್ರ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ವೈಚಾರಿಕಕ್ರಾಂತಿಗೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನ ನೀಡುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ತದನಂತರದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಿಚಾರಧಾರೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಿವಿನ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ಬನಿಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿತು. ತನಗಾಗಿ ತನ್ನವರಿಗಾಗಿ ತಾನೇ ನುಡಿದ ಜನವಾಣಿ ದೈವವಾಣಿಯ ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿತ್ತರಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದು ವಚನಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆ. ಜೀವನಶೋಧನೆಯ ಆಶಯವನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಒಡಮೂಡಿದ ಶರಣರಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ತನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದಸಮಷ್ಟಿಯೆಡೆಗೆ ಹರಿಸಿತು. ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕವಾದ ಮೌಢ್ಯ ಜೀವಸತ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಾರ್ವಕಾಲಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾರುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾನವಧರ್ಮ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಹವಣಿಸಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದೀಚಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಹೊಸರೂಪವನ್ನು ಧಾರಣೆಮಾಡಿ ಜನಪದರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿಹಾಡಿತು. ಇಂತಹ ಹುಲುಸಾದ ವಿನೂತನ ಸತ್ವದ ವಚನಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಸೌರಭ ಮುಂದಿನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ರಚನೆಗೆ ದಾರಿದೀಪವಾಯಿತು.
