The above research paper is an attempt to explain the various styles of Rajasthani painting on historical and artistic basis. It starts from the oldest known painting from the 10th century, Odh Niryukti Vritti and Das Vakalika Sutra Churni, and passes through various regional styles of Rajasthan to the present modern painting style. It attempts to explain the various art styles of Rajasthan which originate from Mewar and how they spread to other regions like Bundi, Jaipur etc. and at what levels they display their regional variations. The above study explains its following functions in the form of explaining the relationship between the regional culture of Rajasthan and their pictorial expressions.

उपयुक्त शोधपत्र राजस्थानी चित्रकला की विविध शैलियों का ऐतिहासिक एवं कलात्मक आधार पर व्याख्या का प्रयास है। यह 10 वीं शताब्दी से अब तक ज्ञात प्राचीनतम चित्र ओध निर्युक्ति वृत्ति एवं दस वकालिका सूत्र चूर्णि से प्रारंभ होकर राजस्थान की विविध क्षेत्रीय शैलियों से गुजरता हुआ वर्तमान आधुनिक चित्रशैली तक आता है। राजस्थान की विविध कला शैलियां जो मेवाड़ से प्रारंभ होती है और कैसे उनका प्रसार अन्य क्षेत्रों जैसे बूंदी, जयपुर आदि मंे होता है तथा यह किन स्तरों पर अपने क्षेत्रीय विविधताओं को प्रदर्शित करती है की व्याख्या का प्रयास करता है। उपरोक्त अध्ययन राजस्थान की क्षेत्रीय संस्कृति एवं उनके चित्रात्मक अभिव्यक्ति के बीच संबंधों की व्याख्या के रूप के अपने निम्न कार्याें को व्याख्यायित करता है।
