Abstract [English]

Rajasthani Mandana art, a traditional Hindu and folk-art form, is a reflection of cosmic harmony and spiritual balance. Its sacred geometry, such as circles, triangles, squares, and lotus flowers, holds significant symbolic meanings. The creation of Mandana is a deeply meditative and ritualistic process, often performed by women as a form of devotional practice. Mandana has a rich history dating back centuries and is deeply rooted in Rajasthani culture and traditions. It is characterized by intricate and symmetrical patterns, often created on homes to invite prosperity, good luck, and positive energy. Mandana art has evolved over time, with artists like Priya Mehta and Vikram Singh pushing the boundaries of traditional techniques and themes. The art form is characterized by vibrant colors and intricate geometric patterns, often inspired by natural elements like flowers, leaves, and peacocks. The revival of Mandana art has not only preserved the art form but also provided economic opportunities for artists and communities involved. The integration of Mandana art into various products has increased its commercial viability and brought attention to the beauty and intricacy of the art form. The future of Rajasthani Mandana art is promising, as it continues to evolve and adapt while retaining its cultural essence.
