DEPICTION OF SYMBOLS IN THE LORD VISHNU’S LOTUS FEET

Abstract [English]

Lord Vishnu consider the one of important divine being among the Trimurti who is responsible to regulate, nourish and nurture the universe continuously by the sounds of Yagya. The Lord Vishu appears in many glorified forms in various ancient texts that shows Lord Vishnu is equivalent to various elements which nurture the universe. Apart from discussion the glory of foot prints of Lord Vishnu also mention in form of Symbols theses foot prints also worship by the Goddess Laxmi with devotion, faith and dedication. According to these believes following are the symbols of right and left foot of lord Vishnu.

2-Left Foot-Shankha, Aakash, Dhanusha, Gaopad(Cow’sFoot), Kalasha, Tri-kona (Triangle), Ardha-Chandra, Matsya(Fish).
Through this research paper, it is tried to describe the above mention symbols which reveals in various forms in our world.

त्रिमूर्ति स्वरूपों में से एक भगवान् विष्णु जिन्हें सम्पूर्ण सृष्टि में यज्ञ के ध्वनित स्वरुप में माना जाता है जिसके फलस्वरूप ही सर्वत्र विश्व का पालन एवं संचालन सतत् रूप में चलायमान होता है । इन्हीं भगवान् विष्णु के सौन्दर्यात्मक स्वरूपों की गणना का वर्णन विविध ग्रंथों में दृश्यमान होता है जिसके फलस्वरूप यह देखा जा सकता है कि इन्हें सृष्टि को सुचारू रूप से संचालित करने वाले विविध तत्वों के समतुल्य देखा जाता है । इसके अतिरिक्त इन्हीं विवेचनाओं में भगवान् विष्णु के चरणों के महिमा का वर्णन करते हुए उसमें अंकित प्रतीकों को भी व्यक्त किया गया है जिनकी पूजा-अर्चना देवी लक्ष्मी के माध्यम से भक्ति पूर्वक एवं निष्ठावान रूप में की जाती रही है इसके अनुरूप भगवान् विष्णु के दायें एवं बाएं चरण कमलों में विविध प्रतीकों के स्वरूपों को देखा जा सकता है, यथा-

1. दायें चरण- जौ, चक्र, कमल, उध्र्व-रेखा, अंकुश, ध्वज, छत्र, वज्र, स्वास्तिक, अन्तःकोण, जम्बूफल
2. बाया चरण- शंख, आकाश, धनुष, गौपद ;गाय का खुरद्ध, कलश, त्रिकोण, अद्र्ध.चद्र, मत्स्य
उक्त वर्णित प्रतीको द्वारा संसार में विद्यमान विविध स्वरूपों को देखा जा सकता है जिसका वर्णन इस शोध पत्र में करने का प्रयास किया गया है।
