About the Journal
The International Journal of Engineering Technologies and Management Research (IJETMR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed monthly journal devoted to integrated techno-managerial research. Its aim is to advance knowledge at the intersection of engineering technologies, management practices, and data-driven decision-making, showcasing work where technical innovation and managerial insight come together to solve real industrial, economic, and societal challenges.
IJETMR provides a global platform for researchers, practitioners, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to share original research, case studies, reviews, and practice-oriented papers that link engineering design and analysis with strategic, operational, financial, and organisational perspectives. By doing so, the journal actively bridges research and industrial developments and supports evidence-based decisions in technology-intensive environments.
IJETMR welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that integrate engineering technologies and management research, including (but not limited to):
- Techno-Managerial Systems and Industry 4.0
Smart manufacturing, automation, IoT, robotics, cyber-physical systems, and their implications for productivity, organisation design, workforce transformation, and industrial strategy. - Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics Analytics
Modelling, optimisation and simulation of production systems, inventory, transportation, and service operations, combined with performance measurement, risk management, and cost/benefit analysis. - Technology, Innovation and Project Management
Management of R&D, product and process innovation, technology adoption, digital transformation, engineering project planning and control, lifecycle management, and project governance in technology-driven contexts. - Sustainable Engineering and Business Practices
Environmentally responsible technologies, energy and resource efficiency, circular economy models, sustainable construction and manufacturing, and their links with policy, regulation, and corporate sustainability strategies. - Data, AI and Decision Sciences in Techno-Management
Application of statistics, AI, machine learning, optimisation, forecasting, and decision-support systems to engineering, operations, marketing, finance, HR, and strategic management problems. - Customer, Market and Financial Perspectives in Technical Contexts
Technology-enabled services, product and service quality, branding and customer experience in engineered products and services, pricing, investment decisions, techno-economic feasibility, and performance evaluation.
Submissions may include original research articles, review papers, case studies, technical notes, short communications, and rigorously reviewed conference papers, provided they clearly demonstrate the integration of engineering/technology and management thinking. All articles undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer-review process before publication.
Our Global Relevance
Each article published in the International Journal of Engineering Technologies and Management Research (IJETMR) contributes toward the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As an open-access, peer-reviewed journal covering all areas of engineering and management and explicitly aiming to “propagate innovative scientific research” and bridge “research and industrial developments,” IJETMR links technical and managerial innovation with real-world societal needs.
In line with its aims, scope, and recent work on sustainable recycling industries, construction’s environmental impact, and renewable energy technologies, IJETMR particularly supports:
SDG 4: Quality Education- By providing a global platform for engineers, managers, researchers, and students to share and access peer-reviewed knowledge, strengthening professional skills and evidence-based practice in engineering and management disciplines.
SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy- Through research on solar photovoltaic systems, renewable energy technologies, and optimization methods that improve the efficiency and reliability of clean energy solutions.
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth- By publishing studies on business operations, organizational climate, industrial performance, and emerging sectors such as the sustainable recycling industry, supporting productive employment, entrepreneurship, and resilient value chains.
SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure- By focusing on engineering technologies and industrial applications, and explicitly positioning itself as a bridge between research and industrial developments, IJETMR advances innovative processes, products, and infrastructure systems.
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities- Through work on construction activities, environmental impacts, and mitigation strategies that inform safer, more sustainable built environments and urban development.
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production- By examining waste generation, recycling, and resource-efficient operations—such as studies on sustainable recycling business models—supporting circular economy practices and responsible industrial production.
SDG 13: Climate Action- By addressing environmental pollution, green construction, and atmosphere-friendly technologies (especially in renewable energy and construction sectors), contributing to strategies that reduce emissions and environmental degradation.
We welcome submissions from academics, industry professionals, engineers, managers, policymakers, and students. By combining rigorous research with application-oriented insights, IJETMR fosters collaboration between academia and industry and advances technological and managerial solutions that support the Sustainable Development Goals.
