The Gupta period, hailed as the “Golden Age” in Indian history, witnessed extraordinary developments in art, religion, philosophy, and cultural expression. Within this flourishing civilization, the Kalpa Vriksha emerged as an important symbol signifying spiritual, cosmic, and social significance. This paper analyzes the profound role of the Kalpa Vriksha in Gupta art and spirituality, its manifestation in religious iconography, and its lasting influence on cultural views of cosmic unity, fertility, and divine order. Through artifacts, architectural carvings, and literary references, this research highlights the deep integration of the Kalpa Vriksha into Gupta culture.

भारतीय इतिहास में "स्वर्ण युग" के रूप में प्रतिष्ठित गुप्त काल में कला, धर्म, दर्शन और सांस्कृतिक अभिव्यक्ति में असाधारण विकास हुआ। इस समृद्ध सभ्यता के भीतर, कल्प वृक्ष एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रतीक के रूप में उभरा, जो आध्यात्मिक, लौकिक और सामाजिक महत्व को दर्शाता है। यह शोधपत्र गुप्त कला और अध्यात्म में कल्प वृक्ष की गहन भूमिका, धार्मिक प्रतीकात्मकता में इसकी अभिव्यक्ति, और ब्रह्मांडीय एकता, उर्वरता, और दिव्य व्यवस्था के सांस्कृतिक दृष्टिकोणों पर इसके स्थायी प्रभाव का विश्लेषण करता है। कलाकृतियों, वास्तुकला में नक्काशी और साहित्यिक संदर्भों के माध्यम से यह शोध गुप्त संस्कृति में कल्प वृक्ष के गहरे एकीकरण को उजागर करता है।
