The Jan Lokpal Movement has to be seen as a significant socio-political event in India. The Jan Lokpal Movement emerged as an important stage in the anti-corruption movement in India. The Jan Lokpal Movement, which emerged in 2011, was led by social activist Anna Hazare. The movement demanded the establishment of an independent Lokpal with the power to investigate and prosecute cases of corruption of public administrative officials. This research paper reviews the Jan Lokpal Movement and explores the origin, development and impact of this movement on the political landscape of India. This research paper analyses the strengths and weaknesses of the Jan Lokpal Movement. At the same time, this paper attempts to understand the active dynamics of the anti-corruption movement in India and its impact on governance and civil society.

भारतातील एक महत्त्वपूर्ण सामाजिक राजकीय घटना म्हणून जनलोकपाल आंदोलनाकडे पाहावे लागते. भारतातील भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी चळवळीतील एक महत्त्वाचा टप्पा म्हणून जनलेकपाल आंदोलन उदयास आले. 2011 साली उदयास आलेल्या जनलोकपाल आंदोलनाचे नेतृत्व सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते अण्णा हजारे यांनी केले. सार्वजनिक प्रशासकीय अधिकाऱ्यांच्या भ्रष्टाचाराच्या प्रकरणांची चौकशी करण्याचा आणि खटला चालवण्याचा अधिकार असलेले स्वतंत्र लोकपाल स्थापन करण्याची मागणी या आंदोलनातून करण्यात आली. हा शोधनिबंध जनलोकपाल आंदोलनाची समीक्षा करतो आणि या आंदोलनाची उत्पत्ती, विकास आणि भारताच्या राजकीय परिदृश्यावरील प्रभावाचा शोध घेतो. जनलोकपाल आंदोलनाचे सामर्थ्य आणि कमतरता यांचे विश्लेषण हा शोधनिबंध करतो. त्याचबरोबर हा शोधनिबंध भारतातील भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी चळवळीच्या सक्रिय गतिशीलतेचा आणि त्याचा शासन आणि नागरी समाजावर होणारा परिणाम समजून घेण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो.
