HISTORICAL HISTORY AND CULTURE OF MORADABAD CITY: A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY

Abstract [English]

Moradabad, an important industrial and cultural centre of the state of Uttar Pradesh, is famous for its rich history and diverse culture. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the historical development, cultural heritage, and contemporary significance of Moradabad city. The study presents the evolution of the city from its inception to the present times using primary and secondary sources. The research findings show that Moradabad has not only been an important trading centre but also an international hub of Indian handicrafts, especially the brass industry.

मुरादाबाद, उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य का एक महत्वपूर्ण औद्योगिक एवं सांस्कृतिक केंद्र है, जो अपने समृद्ध इतिहास और विविधतापूर्ण संस्कृति के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। यह शोध पत्र मुरादाबाद शहर के ऐतिहासिक विकास, सांस्कृतिक विरासत, और समकालीन महत्व का व्यापक विश्लेषण प्रस्तुत करता है। अध्ययन में प्राथमिक एवं द्वितीयक स्रोतों का उपयोग करते हुए शहर की स्थापना से लेकर वर्तमान काल तक के विकास क्रम को प्रस्तुत किया गया है। शोध निष्कर्ष दर्शाते हैं कि मुरादाबाद न केवल एक महत्वपूर्ण व्यापारिक केंद्र रहा है, बल्कि भारतीय हस्तकला, विशेषकर पीतल उद्योग का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय केंद्र भी है।
