Abstract [English]

The present era is based on Information and communication technologies (ICT). In the last two decades we can see a great improvement in ICT field. University Libraries are using ICT based services to fulfil their users demand timely. ICT has revolutionized the way libraries to operate, enhancing the accessibility, efficiency, and quality of services provided to users. In university libraries, ICT-based services have transformed traditional library functions by integrating digital resources, online catalogues, remote access to databases, institutional repositories, and interactive user services. This paper discusses about the comparative analysis of collection and ICT based services of Integral University library and Amity University Library, Lucknow. The paper focuses on key library infrastructure, its collection and various ICT based services provided by these two libraries. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires given to the librarian in both institutions, supported by secondary data from institutional reports and on-site observations. The findings reveal that while both universities offer a range of modern library services and fully support research activities. Integral University has highest number of faculty members and highest budget for its library. It has highest collection of books and has best ICT facilities as compared to Amity University Library.
