SOCIOLOGICAL STUDY OF SOCIAL, ECONOMIC PROBLEMS AND DYNAMICS OF “BARELA” TRIBE
‘’बरेला’’ जनजाति की सामाजिक, आर्थिक समस्याओं एवं गतिशीलता का समाज शास्त्रीय अध्ययन

According to the census of 2011, the total population of the state is 7,26,26,809. Out of which 1,53,16,784 population is of scheduled tribe i.e. 21.60% population of the state is tribal. In terms of population of scheduled tribe, Alirajpur is at first place in Madhya Pradesh. A total of ‘47’ tribes and sub-tribes are found in Madhya Pradesh. Tribal development blocks are ‘89’.

भारतीय सामाजिक व्यवस्था में जनजातियों का महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है। विश्व में जनजातियों के वितरण की दृष्टि से भारत वर्ष में जनजातीय जनसंख्या किसी भी देश से अधिक है। विकास की दृष्टि से भी भारतीय जनजातियों को विभिन्न अवस्थाओं में रखा जा सकता है। आज भी ये लोग सभ्य समाज की तुलना में अत्यधिक पिछड़े हुये है।
सन 2011 की जनगणना के अनुसार प्रदेश की कुल जनसंख्या 7,26,26,809 है। जिसमें से 1,53,16,784 जनसंख्या अनुसूचित जनजाति की है अर्थात प्रदेश की 21.60 % जनसंख्या आदिवासी है। अनुसूचित जनजाति की जनसंख्या की दृष्टि से मध्यप्रदेश में अलीराजपुर प्रथम स्थान पर है। मध्यप्रदेश में कुल ‘47’ जनजातियों, उपजनजातियाँ पाई जाती है। आदिवासी विकासखण्ड ‘89’ है।
